Born and raised in a small town in Central California, Nick Hampton knew from an early age he wanted his life to be immersed in music. After studying piano through middle and high school he went on to earn a degree in Music Theory and Composition.

Nick provides music direction, sound design, consultation, and original compositions ranging from solo pieces for performance to full orchestrations for Film, TV, and Theater. The most recent film he scored is Blue Ridge: The Randy Detrick Story which won "Best Documentary Feature" at the New York International Film Awards. 

When he’s not composing he enjoys playing jazz, fusion, and contemporary piano. He performed with a jazz trio in Long Beach, CA. until his move to New York, where he is now based.
